Many athletic trainers, coaches and staff find they spend more time on insurance claims than working with the athletes. We developed our Athletic Advocate program at the request of our clients. This program focuses your athletic trainers on the athletes and shifts the insurance work to our Athletic Advocates.
Enhanced Athletic Advocacy provides oversight for all student athletes and all sports, regardless of the students' primary insurance, and provides assistance for claims and communication with providers, parents and athletic trainers.
Services Include:
- Developing the protocol for use by athletic staff when there is a claim.
- Advocating for timely claims filing with the insurance company and providing necessary follow-up.
- Providing individual attention to each claim, including any communications that are required.
- Serving as the medical insurance clearinghouse.
Enhanced Athletic Advocacy is a fee-based program.
